A rockstar is a performer in a band who commands the most attention on stage. The primary duty of a rockstar is to write songs and gather the audience’s attention. So first of all, they want to join an ongoing band or create their band. If you’re going to create your band, you need some of the people who can be your band members and have a good knowledge of music.
The essential requirement for a band is a guitarist, a drum player, a keyboard player, and a musician. All of these make a musician a complete rockstar. In the books with rockstar romance, we see the internal/external. The internal romance forms between band members or musicians. Moreover, external romance forms between rockstars and fans. Most authors talk about external romance because the readers like to read it very much.

1. Blame It on the Tequila
It is the second book in the Blame It On The Alcohol series. You do not have to read the first one whatsoever to understand this book. This one follows Nova and Parker, and they are step-siblings. Their parents had divorced when they were younger, and growing up, they used to write music together.
Parker had a band in Nova that would like to write songs. Then she even started to perform with them. Something happens where then she stays behind, and Parker and the band get a deal. They go out on the road, and they’re off touring, singing, making music.
Nova does her own thing and figures it out on her own. Presently, Parker and Nova get reconnected, and Parker has difficulty writing music. His record label is on struggle mood. They’re hiring a songwriter, and they’re coming on tour with her. So they’re back on tour again, and it’s so fun. This is a good band dynamic where the band members get along well and a good friend group.
Also, it’s more focused on the drama between Nova and Parker and overcoming the past and the things that happened. So it has the step-sibling trope, the childhood friends to enemies to lovers, and the rock star element to it.

Also, he has cancer, so she quits her job. The most tragic thing happens with her cat. She is a cat-lover, and she can’t marry someone allergic to cats. So her boyfriend recently broke up with her.
Lilith lives in Arizona, and she’s dedicated to getting out to New York to see her father before he passes away. She has no money, no home, no family, nothing. Then she finds these tickets at the bottom of her purse at a gas station. So she goes over to the venue and sells these two tickets. 5. Backstage Pass (Sinners on Tour)
Sinners on Tour consists of five books. This one is also a companion series, with the first one starting with Backstage Pass. It follows the guitarist, Brian Sinclair. One night at a hotel, he meets a college professor and psychologist (Myrna Evans). They have a great night together.
Also, they start spending more and more time together. Myrna’s looking for a new research project. Then she ends up joining them on tour, and she’s starting to research the psychology behind groupies.
So that’s an interesting premise. Myrna’s a smart heroine, and she’s not alone for the ride. She is researching the road, which was cool. The author, Olivia, knows how to write a sex scene, and it was so well showcased in this book.
Then Rock Hard is the second one. It’s a second chance romance between one of the band members and his ex-girlfriend like they had dated. At one point, they broke up, and then they’ve met up again, and they tried to figure out their relationship again.

9. Thoughtless
Kellan Kyle is our rockstar/artist and the lead character of his band. Kiera comes and lives with him because her fiancee is best friends with Kellan. There’s serious romantic chemistry going on between them, but she’s engaged. So you get to see the cheating romance trope in this book. If you don’t like that, don’t read it, but it’s done very well.
Kiera’s got to decide if she wants to live for her boyfriend and if things will work out between her and her boyfriend. I liked the plot how he brought her out of her shell a lot. So if you want to weigh one with music characters, you should check out.

12. Rockstar (Morgan Brothers)
This is the fifth book in the Morgan Brothers series. It is about Dax Morgan and Violet. They have an instant connection and a lot of learned books, most of Lauren’s books. Lauren Rowe’s books are very insta love, lust, and that’s what this was. Morgan and Violet see each other. They’re instantly attracted. Then he has to go on to her.
The timing is not right, so they don’t see each other for a while. There is a forbidden aspect of this book, but this one has a lot of rockstar vibes. Dax is the lead singer of his band. So this one is fabulous as well.

13. Smitten
This one doesn’t have quite so much a rockstar feel. It is much sweeter, but both of the characters here are musicians. Fish is the drummer in a band called 22 Goats. Alessandra was finally starting to make it big, and it was their relationship.
So they are both musicians, and we see quite a lot of them performing. The audiobook is fantastic because the music automatically plays when they are performing, and there is a point in this book where he sings to her on stage, and it is so sweet.
