5 Theology Books About The Holy Spirit

Spirituality Novels

Holy Spirit is not only reserved for religious people. It is actively working to awaken people who are away from God and who even know God that they have deficiencies and needs. When we receive anything from God, we can have a righteous, obedient life. With the Holy Spirit, we can begin the journey of understanding God’s mind.

Without the Holy Spirit, you cannot understand the things of God. We need spiritual eyes in our hearts to see God’s ways in our lives more clearly, and the Holy Spirit helps us with this. One of the most important things the Holy Spirit does for us is to help us renew our minds. When things happen, our priorities change.

Without the Holy Spirit, we can only live fleshly physical lives. Our minds would be solely on things that are of this world. But with this spirit living inside us, we are no longer entrapped by the flesh, with the Holy Spirit as our counselor and guide living inside us. Stay with me if you want to know more about The Holy Spirit through books.

The third book is also in the intermediate category, with a lot of teaching to help you grow and become better acquainted with the person of the Holy Spirit. The author also shares his personal experiences, which is awesome. At the end of each chapter, he talks about prayers. Also, he says, Every supernatural encounter with God includes change, empowerment, and impact.

God’s revelation is not to make us more intelligent but to enable us to encounter him as Adam and Eve did in the Garden. So giving control to the Spirit is the only way to become fully aware of God and His Holy Spirit. It is a worthwhile read for every believer, especially Christian. Avoid the hardcover because of the poor paper and font quality, but the paperback is best for color, font, and paper quality.

4. Forgotten God: Reversing Our Tragic Neglect of the Holy Spirit

This book is in the advanced category. The writer has a bit of assertion in his tone, but I like it because he’s yanking you out of that comfortable place. If you get easily offended when people sound very assertive when writing, this book is not for you because it will offend you. But I look at that as conviction, and I don’t look at it as being offended.

The author believes that love or actions of human creation do not move the world, and the Church is not empowered to live differently from any other gathering of people without the Holy Spirit. But when believers believe in the power of the Spirit, the evidence is in the evidence in their lives. It’s supernatural! The Church cannot help but be different, and the world cannot help but notice. If you are in a place where you know the Holy Spirit, this book will surely wake you up.

5. Understanding the Anointing

The book talks more about the five-fold ministry that gave the gifts of the apostle, the prophet, the teacher, the preacher, and the evangelist. You can know what the anointing is for, how the Holy Spirit moves in those differences, and the gifts He has given to the body of Christ. So this is an advance, but it was eye-opening.

The author tells you that the anointing is for service. What will we do with more of God when we have more of God? So the book lets you know that the anointing of God on your life will serve in different areas in the body of Christ. You can prepare yourself for this anointing. If it doesn’t come on you, it’s because you didn’t prepare yourself. You can increase the anointing by studying the word of, studying the world, and being prayerful.
