Wikipedia reports that in 2021 there was a record number of billionaires in the world: 2,755, to be exact. In 2023, it will exceed 3000. It is a very small number if you compare it with the total population in the world. So becoming a billionaire is a bridge too far for most. If you observe the billionaires/millionaires life, you get to see that most of them are very busy with their work and have little time for long-term relationships. They do one-night stands or hookups.
So you can not see any significant relationship here, but there is always an exception. If you read or see the Fifty Shades trilogy, you see how a billionaire romance can be emotional and sweet.
15 Billionaire Romance Books (Business/Enterprenure Romance)
Billionaire love story or romance is a popular trope in the romance genre. Most of the story buildup from the office or workplace, and the characters show a boss-worker relationship. It depends on the authors, and the main character can be anyone. Now I will review the best 15 billionaire romance books for you. Let’s go!
1. Misadventures of a Backup Bride (Misadventures)
It is part of the Misadventures series. You don’t have to read them in order. They are all technically standalone and all written by different authors. This one follows our billionaire, Carson, who has to make a business deal and marry the daughter of that business owner. But he wants to back out. So he claims that he’s in love with somebody else. Even though he is supposedly in love with somebody else, he can still get the company if he ends up marrying this woman he’s in love with.
So Carson has to come up with this plan of finding this woman he’s supposed to be in love with, and he meets our female character, Ella. Ella is an actress, and she decides to go along with it and pretend to be his fiance or pretend to be in love with him. They have this plan to have this wedding that will be fake, and she’ll leave him at the altar so that they don’t have to get married. It won’t be his fault, and he could still get the company he wants. It was fun, and I enjoyed the romance.

2. Manwhore
Our female character, Rachel, is a journalist who writes very iconic pieces. She writes about our male character (Saint), a billionaire entrepreneur Chicago has ever known. Saint is very mysterious private, and Rachel wants to expose him or get more out of him.
So she decides to interview him and get to know him to write this piece about him. So she becomes very wrapped up in him. But she suddenly doesn’t know if she wants to write this article for her career or instead to protect him. It’s super intriguing. In a way, it gives me vibes that he’s very elegant or from a regal family. That’s the vibes I get from his name, and it does follow a lot of other billionaires and super successful heroes.

3. The Fortunate Ones
Brooke Davenport works at a country club, and she’s a waitress. James Ashwood is often at the country club, and he’s the successful billionaire tech guy. One day they’re both in the lounge together. He is super intrigued by her and asks her to take a seat. Then they start chit-chatting. Brooke’s super intimidated by him. There is an age gap, and he’s a little distant, cold, and mysterious.
It’s not super comedy or rom-com focused as other books are. It has a little bit more serious dark elements. If that makes sense, it still had a lot of great qualities that are scary has in Grey’s books, like there is still a little bit of a funny, sassy humor tone to it. Also, there is quite a bit of banter between the characters.

4. The Contract
This is one of my favorites, billionaire romances. Richard VanRyan is a business guy. He’s got the money, and this falls Richard, who is trying to secure this business deal. But the partners don’t believe that he’s a family man. They think he’s a cold, heartless business guy. So they essentially want him to prove that he could be a family man and be a nice guy.
So he asks his assistant to be his fake fiancee, Katharine. Katharine tries to do her job, and that’s it, but she doesn’t like him. So she’s thrown off about him asking her to be his fiancee. You see both characters grow and develop, and Richard turns more into a softer. Also, he opens his heart up for more.

5. Chandler (Fixed)
You don’t have to read the entire Fixed series before reading this one. Chandler, who works for his family’s business, is the family’s black sheep. Also, he is a player, and our female character, Genevieve, is the daughter of this successful business guy. She feels like she doesn’t get much attention from the family. She’s an outcast a little bit. Then she meets Chandler.
Genevieve doesn’t want anything to do with him, but she sees the opportunity to use him in a playful way to get her dad’s attention. Obviously, to Chandler, it’s a game. Chandler thinks he can get any girl, so he’s down for it. There’s no fake dating or anything like that. It’s more friends with benefits, but mainly they try to get other people’s attention.

6. Eighty-One Nights (Beautiful Illusions Duet)
This is a duology. If you haven’t read any of Georgia Cates’s books, I highly recommend them. But this specific duology is very similar to her other books, which is intentional on Goodreads. Our female character (Caitriona Louden) falls, who is an escort. She ends up meeting our male character (Maxwell), who is a billionaire.
Maxwell offers a contract to be his girlfriend, but more like a companion a little bit. He wants all of the elements of a girlfriend without them getting attached. It was very well developed to feel all their emotions, and the plot was fascinating.

I love this billionaire love story because Claire can get away from her kids for a little bit and go on this work trip. Her interest in having this couple of nights. Then she gets thrown back into reality when she comes home. She thinks that Tristan will never fit in with her family, and it’s their romance and how he changes a little bit. 11. Bared to You (Crossfire)
This first book is a good start to the Crossfire series. It’s not a very big book, but it touches on much sexual assault. Gideon (billionaire) is as damaged as Eva, and they learn to heal together. That journey does not come easy, and it seems like a roller coaster. Both of these characters need to work it out, but they choose to do it together. They don’t want to do it apart, and they want to do it together.

Milo’s mentoring her for business then sends him a dirty text. Things go from there. The angst level is pretty low. There’s not a ton of miscommunication that happened.
